I am so happy I found your recipes! We are both recently retired and our children gave us an IP as a gift. I’m still on a learning curve, so your helpful information makes all the difference! I just prepared this HK pork recipe and we love it! The meat was tender and juicy, the sauce flavorful and I just love the efficient method of cooking the rice. Excellent recipe. I added bamboo shoots for a crunchy texture contrast and 1/4 tsp of five spice powder to give the sauce a little extra oomph.

I’m just constantly impressed by how delicious IP One Pot Meal could be 😃 This recipe calls for just a few simple ingredients, so I didn’t expect much out of it on top of my really bad knife skills (have no idea how to cut meat 😅)

The first bite just flipped my world upside down. The meat was so incredibly tender, and so delicious to soak rice with the gravy. Definitely will be a regular at our house😋❤️

Made this tonight and it was soooo good! I did degreased the sauce before thickening as I have learned the hard way with roasts in the past. Thanks again for sharing this recipe 🙂
