Excellent! Used 6 cups of water instead of 7. Perfect consistency. Added sliced ginger, dried scallops and preserved duck egg. Topped with green onion. The best congee I’ve ever made.

I added minced ginger to cook with this beef congee. Next time I will add beef or chicken bouillon powder and minced garlic. Would like to try it with ground pork next time. The texture of the rice congee is perfect!

This is like my 4th time making this. My kids kept asking for it and a good way to get the little one to eat his vegetables. This time I added pea sprouts. You can basically add any vegetable.
